Hands-Up Project was a project that I began senior year as a realization of Natural User Interface (NUI). I used the ceiling, a space that is often neglected when you are lying on the bed, to display information from a projector. As the inconvenience of having to use separate equipments, so I designed the parts displayed on the ceiling to be controlled with just the fingers. I wrote my thesis based on the usability test and interviews I conducted then, and presented this for the first time at CHI. Afterwards, I developed this project as an interface for the disabled who have difficulties moving, and received an award at a competition from the biggest academic society in the country.
